We have now created a new Devil's Playground Mailing List.

BILLY TO CANCEL CONVENTION HALL ASBURY PARK SHOW

MAY 27, 2005 – Billy regretfully has to cancel his scheduled show
at The Convention Hall in Asbury Park, N.J. this Saturday night,
May 28 due to health reasons.
After being on the road since March performing a very physically demanding show, Billy has, over the past few days, been fighting off a persistent flu virus that is slowly getting the better of him. With a looming European tour beginning next week, Billy and his management have made a decision to take that day so he can
get some much-needed rest.
Other possible dates to play in Asbury Park are already being explored.

“I feel awful for having to cancel this show; it’s something I rarely do but, in this case, it’s the right thing to do,” emphasized Idol. “It’s really important to me to give fans my all up there and if I’m sick, I’m going to be no good to anyone.
I appreciate my fans understanding and will do everything I can
to see you all later in the summer.”

Wesley Muckey had the chance to give Billy the sculpture
he made for him at the Reading show.
Billy had it on stage with him & picked it up from time to time.
Wesley says that giving this gift to Billy, who inspires
his craft is the highlight of his 18 years of work.
